Standing on the Promise
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, NIV)

There are seasons when the evidence of God’s faithfulness is not immediately visible. The job application goes unanswered. The diagnosis comes back uncertain. The relationship that once felt steady begins to shift. In those seasons, Romans 8:28 does not promise that everything will feel good. It promises that God is working. The difference between those two things matters.

 

Standing on the promise means holding steady when the ground beneath you shifts. It means showing up to prayer when you do not feel like praying. It means opening Scripture when the words feel distant. Faith is not the absence of doubt. Faith is the decision to keep walking when doubt is present.

 

Today, wherever you are, know this: God has not forgotten you. The promise still holds.
